This session, led by Erwin Alberto, Martin Brummerstedt, and Doug Roberge will focus on why apparel company Stylepit chose Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP) over a CRM, and the pros and cons of “build vs buy” in the CDP space from learning management platform Outschool’s experience.

I’m interested to learn the decision making process they went through, especially in choosing a CDP over a CRM as well as looking forward to seeing new trends in making the best use of Customer Data Platforms such as Segment as they relate to increased consumer choice across communication channels.

We are looking to increase our number of Segment engagements heading in to 2022, so I think this session will apply to my work nicely. I always like to collect stories about how companies chose and use any products our teams are also working with.
