Miles Phillips’ top three picks for what sessions to see at Twilio SIGNAL 2022

Miles Phillips at Twilio SIGNAL 2022

Miles Phillips, Terazo’s Sr. Director, Twilio Partnership

Twilio SIGNAL, Twilio’s flagship annual customer and developer conference, is here, and this year there are more great sessions than ever before at the virtual conference. Moreover, Terazo’s Twilio experts are participating at a greater level than ever, with three unique sessions over two days.

As head of our ever-growing Twilio Gold Consulting Partnership, Miles Phillips has some great recommendations of what sessions to tune into on November 2nd and 3rd, which we’re pleased to present below. If you haven’t yet registered, what are you waiting for? Registration is absolutely free, so there’s nothing holding you back. Click here to register.

Here’s what Miles is excited to see at SIGNAL, in his own words:

1. Personalizing the car-buying experience with Twilio Flex, Twilio Segment, and Spoke Phone

This session integrates three pieces of technology that I’m excited about: Flex, Segment, and Spoke Phone. When Twilio announced its acquisition of Segment, I was excited about what first-party data could bring to the contact center experience.   Since I first learned of Spoke about a year ago, I’ve been a fan of their software and how it can help connect Flex with the back office and the mobile workforce. I’m excited to see the results of this integration.

2. Five best practices for a conversational IVR with Twilio

Here at Terazo, we’ve been spending a lot of time helping customers with new and exciting customer experiences. These oftentimes deal with building out voice or text-based conversational experiences. It takes a lot of work to have a great conversational experience, and I’m always looking for new ideas to help our customers delight theirs.

3. Scaling 211 life-saving services with Twilio to support local communities

Full disclosure: this talk is one of Terazo’s presentations at SIGNAL. “Seek Meaningful Work” is one of Terazo’s core principles. I’m incredibly proud of the work our teams have done for the city of Chicago and the state of Maryland around their 211 services. It doesn’t get more meaningful than this. I encourage you to join this session to hear how Terazo and Twilio are making a difference in our communities through our work.

Beyond these three sessions, Terazo will be on hand for a Community Hall event on both days, where you can show up for a casual, open-ended Q&A with our Twilio experts, who can help you learn how to build truly unique and transformative customer experiences. See the full schedule in your local time zone here. We hope to see you there!

VIDEO: Twilio Flex Implementation for Bend by FNBO

Check out this inside look into how Terazo worked in concert with First National Bank of Omaha (FBNO) on their new credit-as-a-service product, Bend by FNBO, powered by Twilio Flex. Through curated partnerships with payment providers, including its launch partner Marqeta, Bend by FNBO aims to be the credit solution of choice for digitally native brands, fintech, and technology platforms.

The collaboration enables companies to roll out branded credit card programs quickly by using Marqeta’s modern, open APIs to embed the credit card experience within their applications, while utilizing FNBO’s underwriting services and program management capabilities, including compliance and risk management. Marqeta’s self-service dashboard also allows companies to configure and manage card products in real time, so brands now have the speed to market as they evolve their credit card capabilities.
